It seemed to operate as well as any other healthcare service. The wait did seem to be overly long although that seems to be the new standard, I guess. But the staff were very friendly and efficient.
Second visit to this location and the first visit was an hour and forty minutes late. Today my mothers appointment time was for 8:45 and it's now 9:30! Asked receptionist if the doctor was running late and she gave me a look of discuss and said we will get to your mother when we can. WoW!?!? the service here is HORRIBLE but the doctors are so good it's a shame they will loose a client because of their front staff.
I just don't totally understand why they tell you to get there a half hour early and then make you wait an hour and a half to get in there. I mean, in this day and age, they could text you a better time to get there if they're behind. I'm fine with them running behind, those things will happen but technology could fix it.
I wouldn't even give them 1 Star because they don't even deserve that! Where do I start? My mom went in for surgery yest morning. My sister who is an RN brought her. Her appointment was at 10:45 & they DID NOT take her back until 3:00. They took patients scheduled after her before her! A surgery that should be an hour they were there nearly 8 hours! Even the front desk left before my mom n sister! My mom & sister were the last ones in that building! Then the dr NEVER came out and explained to my sister what he did to my mom! Didn't even talk to her! Then ALL the pain my mom was in she went to fill her pain medicine today on a Saturday and he never put the date on the script so now after chopping in to her arm she has NOTHING for the pain! Oh and how about the nurse spiking her oxygen up to 95% until she gagged her because she claimed my moms oxygen was low my sister looked at her and said well maybe if you put it on her finger you'll get an accurate oxygen reading and the nurse looked at my sister and said oh what are you a nurse and my sister said actually I am! Guess what there was NOTHING wrong with my moms oxygen level. This place should NEVER be allowed to perform surgery on ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my third time there, twice during the summer with my husband for two cataract surgeries and just today with my son for tonsillectomy. I have to admit even though they were running a little bit behind (who isn't these days as life happens) the staff from the intake to the nursing, pre-op, the OR nurses the Nurse anesthesist and the anesthesiologist were all kind and attentive. The physician even came out when he was done with an update. The only thing that was a little off was the post op RN seemed a little unsure of what she was doing; possibly new. Post op instructions were not really clear. Being a nurse I felt confident about what I was to look out for other wise I would have asked for help. She was very kind however. Clearly the facility was very busy but the care did not falter due the high census.
