The CH library is a good one. The front desk staff can be pretty rude but don't let them discourage you -- the rest of the staff is friendly and just wonderful, especially the folks from the kids section. The building is new and clean, and well organized.

The kids section is really fun, with toys, books, and many fun activities and events for all ages. You do need to register for most of them though, and the events are usually full so don't delay registering if you see one you like.

chpl is one of my favorite libraries! the building is always clean, the staff is wonderful, and the events are varied & fun. i am delighted that the sf and graphic novel collections have been expanding, as well.

Went to drop off some books last month. The ladies were so unfriendly and didnt even look at me to ask if i needed help. I wanted to become a member but was just soo annoyed and dropped the books off and left. Sad.

been there many times-great place!!!-i once wanted a book and i bought it but i just went to the library(and got it!!!)staff is very nice and friendly!!!

Cherry Hill N.J. is about the most Politically Correct city in New Jersey. The vibe at this library reflects this. It's controlled by leftist librarians who imbue leftist values. You won't find Books by Colin Flaherty here. This is the Tel Aviv of Southern New Jersey - the Western part of town has seen better days - with many Asians and east Asians moving in on their climb up the social ladder. The Eastern part of town is loftier and predominantly Jewish. The homes are priced to keep unwanted minorities out. Now that white ethnics have left for greener pastures - the town is nothing more than one big shopping Mall. The thoroughbred racetrack which was built by a self-made entrepreneur of Italian extraction with a big dream (who created a small town with a big city feel)- is long gone. The current inhabitants reflect the consumerism and social climbing values (and phoney liberalism) that envelope this area. They give lip service to black causes and percieved Black victimization - but only drive through Camden (a regular on the murder capital list)-(on their infrequent visits to Philadelphia) with blinders on. Every couple of decades their taxes will build some failed inner city boondoggle.
